Apple Brides Post!

Today EE has been featured on Applebrides.com! I am so excited about this wedding that is featured because it was a true joy to make this vision come alive!

My bride, Denise contacted and booked me long before we met and talk about what she would like for her special day. After a couple hours of breaking down the whole wedding, we put together a Celtic themed wedding. She allowed me to be creative with her and let me have free creativity to her wonderful day.

The wedding day was full of texture, flowers, Irish dancers, kilts, and bagpipes. It was an amazing experience and an honor to be apart of their blissful day.

2011 in the Books!

This has been such a wonderful year for Erica's Expressions. It seems like every month something new and exciting has happen and I could be apart of.

I just want to thank all my 2011 brides for making it a colorful and artistic year. Also to all the wonderful vendors that I have met and worked with. I can't wait for next wedding season and I am sure that it will not disappoint!

1/7/11 Spokane Radio 92 interviewed me for the January wedding show. Red rose and Calla lily bouquet was featured.

Royal Wedding

So I didn't wake up with the rest of the world to watch the wedding of the century! But I did record it so that I could watch it fully awake. My 2 1/2 son wasn't as thrilled as I was to watch because it was taking over the Mickey Mouse hour that we normally watch in the morning.

As we watched, I was taking notes of flower choices and decor. Oh and I didn't forget to check out that beautiful wedding gown! Kate Middleton's bouquet was a small but impressive bouquet of Lily of the Valley and Narcoses (Paper White) flowers. We traditionally see these flowers as a "filler" flower in bouquets because of the petite size they have. By grouping them in large numbers, this gave an elegant lace feel, suitable for a Princess.
